Photographing Jewelry is one of the most difficult tasks I have ever encountered. I have to change the contrast in photoshop just to get a decent looking image. Not to mention I have to resize them and make sure I leave enough space around the jewelry as a cushion incase etsy chops some of it up... which they always do even though I make sure to get a perfectly square image.
Here are some of my recent photos, I haven't uploaded them to etsy yet, because I was working on uploading all my green jewelry for St. Patrick's Day.
In everything I do, I always do my best; I give 100% of myself and pay close attention to detail. This is reflected in the software I create as a programmer, the cakes I decorate and the jewelry I design.
In making my jewelry I’m inspired by color or the gem itself. Those characteristics dictate what the piece will become. Making jewelry is more than just stringing beads together; it’s about bringing out the personality of the gems. I want people to love the jewelry I make, it’s not just an accessory it’s art. Some beads I use in my have been handcrafted and I assemble the jewelry care and attention to detail. I’d like to believe that the jewelry I create are timeless pieces. I don’t want to create something that will be in style for a short time, I want my jewelry to last for generations.
